- involving or potentially affecting companies, property (real, intangible, intellectual), or business practices of different countries;
- implicating the laws, legal practices, or regulatory regimes of different jurisdictions (including governmental investigations and parallel enforcement activity); and
- where diverse venues do or might exist to pursue, defend, or resolve the controversies.
In our experience, transnational litigations and cross-border regulatory or enforcement activity of this sort of “international” dimension and scope present clients with special and sometimes unique legal and economic risks and opportunities. By focusing on such controversies, on the strategies underlying them as well as on solutions to the challenges they present, we hope the blog will help fill a need not currently being met.
